Privacy policy
How Qteros collects, uses, stores and protects personal data.
We collect the minimum we need to make and deliver your video. This page explains what that means in practice.
What we collect
- Order details: your name and email address, the recipient’s name, the occasion, song choice, message, pronunciation notes and any delivery-date request.
- Payment information: handled by Dodo Payments. We receive confirmation of payment, the amount, currency and a payment identifier — not your full card number.
- Order correspondence: emails you send us about an order.
- Technical data: standard server logs from our hosting provider, including IP address and request information, used for security and troubleshooting.
- Cart data: your cart is stored in your browser’s local storage. It is not sent to us until you check out.
- Newsletter: if you subscribe, we store your email address and the date you subscribed.
Why we collect it
- To produce, personalize and deliver your video.
- To process payment and prevent fraud.
- To respond to questions and provide support.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To send occasional updates if you have opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers who help us run the store:
- Dodo Payments for payment processing.
- Cloudflare for hosting, storage and security.
- Email and file-delivery providers used to send your video and order updates.
- Professional advisers or authorities where required by law.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use customer videos in advertising without written permission.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as needed to provide support, comply with tax and accounting rules, and resolve disputes. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete data we are not legally required to keep.
Where it is stored
Order data is stored in Cloudflare’s global network, including D1 databases. Payment data is processed by Dodo Payments under its own privacy policy. Some providers may process data outside your country; they use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete data we are not required to keep.
- Unsubscribe from newsletter emails by replying to any newsletter email or emailing us.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Cookies and local storage
We use local storage to remember your cart. We use a secure, HttpOnly cookie for the private admin area; it is not used for advertising. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Security
We use HTTPS, access controls and industry-standard payment processing. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and limit what we collect.
Children
Our service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it.
